The Krab Pot | Hidden Treasures

Hi guys so I recently went on a little holiday to Cornwall and I visited a little place in Port Isaac called 'The Krab Pot' it is a fantastic little quaint place that isn't too big but the food is honestly delightful. As Port Isaac is a fishing village the fish is amazing. My mum had the crab sandwich and it was amazing. All the food looks really large and filling at first but it's all so light and not filling at all. I had the brownie with salted caramel ice-cream and it was delicious. The brownie was so warm and gooey. All of it was honestly amazing. The atmosphere inside is so humble the staff are so nice and friendly, plus the interior was very lovely all the worn down wood and the sea themed cushions plus the fairy lights made it a wonderful atmosphere to eat in. I really recommend you to eat at this place if you're in the area .

July Favourites | Current Obsessions

Hi guys so today i'm going to be telling you all about my current obsessions throughout the month of July and i've only been loving a couple of things this month that really stood out to me as a couple of products have been staple for me. I'm not going to ramble on too much so i'm just going to get straight on into it.

Divergent-
Recently I caught on with the Divergent hype and I'm hooked. It took me a while to get started with this book. However once I started reading it I couldn't stop. I got so griped in Tris' story and everything that happened. The story was so fast paced and action packed. I loved every single character and the development that Veronica Roth gave them. I am now currently reading Insurgent and I love this equally as much as I loved Divergent. I just love the fluidity of Veronica's writing.

Bath and Body Works 'Oahu Coconut' Body spray-
My next favourite has been the Bath and Body works 'Oahu Coconut' fine fragrance mist. I never thought i'd be the sort of person who'd like the more coconut scents but when I was in Bath and Body works in New York I sprayed this and instantly fell in love it was really one on the scents thats stood out to me. I had been alternating this with a couple of other scents but this month I've found it to be all that I wear and I haven't reached for anything else this month. You can buy them on Amazon if you aren't in the US and I would really recommend you try these!

BareMinerals 'The Skinny dip' bronzer-
This next product is a very late favourite as far as the month of July goes but I couldn't not include it. For the past month or so I've been using Benefit's hoola bronzer and when I decided to take my Bare Minerals bronzer on holiday I instantly fell back in love with it. This bronzer is a lot more of a warm toned bronzer than some but it gives a perfect natural bronzed look to my skin and it is also build able if I want t to be. This compliments pale skin tones perfectly and looks good with any makeup look.

MAC 'Peach Blossom' Lipstick-
Finally my last favourite for the month of July is the MAC 'Peach Blossom' lipstick. Which I have now talked about quite a lot on here and rightly so because this lipstick is amazing. I find myself wearing this on an everyday basis as it goes with absolutely everything. This lipstick gives a perfect peachy pink look to the lips as the name suggests and it also looks stunning. I know MAC isn't in everybody's price range but if you do get the chance I would highly recommend picking this shade up as it is a staple colour to have.

So I hope you all enjoyed todays blogpost and I have a lot more exciting blogposts coming your way now that it is summer, so you can all look forward to that.
Love you all...

The Perfect Bronze Trio

Hi guys so today I am going to be telling you all about my perfect bronze trio of products that work perfectly for any time of year. Mostly these are just my favourite product within the bronze colour family. I love all of these products as they are amazing. Two of the products are slightly on the pricier side though so I'm sure you can find just as good of dupes at the drugstore.

Urban Decay Naked Palette-
This is one of my most used makeup items that I own as you can see by the state that it's in and it was actually the first eyeshadow palette I ever owned so it has a special place in my heart. I love this palette for the bronze tones in it as they work with absolutely anything at all. What I also love about this palette is that all of the colours are so versatile so you can mix and match them with different palettes and they work amazingly. Plus the colours are very bronze tones which is my favourite shade at the moment to wear on my eye.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creamy Beige-
I've been absolutely loving the Maybelline colour tattoo in creamy beige as it gives a very nice brolly base to the eyelid and it is perfect for blending eyeshadow on top of. Also something that sets it apart from the shade 'On and on Bronze' also from Maybelline is that it is a matte shade which means shimmers and mattes look flawless on top of this. It also reminds me of the shade 'Buck' from the Naked palette. This is also the more affordable of the three options as it is drugstore. Also the cream looks beautiful and stunning on it's own which is how i wear it most days.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer-
The Benefit hoola bronzer is the newest edition to my makeup collection and already i'm in love with it. What I like most about thus bronzer is that it is really different to all the other bronzers I own as it is slightly more ashy toned and better for contour than say my Borjois one. Also it give the perfect natural bronze to the cheeks and I am finding myself wearing this on an everyday basis recently and I haven't even reached for any other bronzer in a while. This bronzer just gives you the perfect sun kissed look for summer no matter what shade of skin you are; me being very pale I can wear this just fine.

I hope you enjoyed todays post...

Recent Beauty Purchases | Collab with Lady of Elegant

Hi guys so today I am going the be doing a recent purchases/ review blogpost or you could say everything I bought from New York beauty wise. This is also a collab with the lovely Lady of Elegant she will be uploading a blogpost too so make sure you go check it out. When I wend to New York I did pick up a couple of makeup items and now i've had time to test them out i'd like to do a mini review for you all. There is a more in depth review of some products that will be up or are up already so go check them out.

MAC paint pot in Painterly:
So when I went to New York I knew I had to pick this up as i've seen it all over the blogging world and mac is a lot cheaper over in the states. This product is just a cream eyeshadow that is a very natural tone that creates a wonderful flawless base for eye makeup or it can be worn on its own and this creates a wonderful finish. Painterly is a very neutral shade that is a similar shade to my skin tone so it blends beautifully. I find myself more in the summer wearing this on its own as I don't want to wear a lot of eye makeup. This product definitely makes me want to pick up more mac.

MAC lipstick in Peach Blossom:
I have had this lipstick on my wish list and I now finally have it and i'm so happy. It is just a perfect peachy toned lipstick that isn't too harsh and it's perfect for any season any makeup look. I've been wearing this all the time recently mixed with other glosses or just on on it's own and it's so pretty. There is a more in-depth review coming soon

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation:
I already have a full review on this foundation which you can check out (here) but since i've bought it it's become my new holy grail.

Benefit Hoola bronzer:
I have heard nothing but good things about this bronzer and I wasn't disappointed when I purchased it. Hoola is a very cool toned bronzer which is perfect for bronzing and contour. I find that all my other bronzers are quite warm toned but this one is a complete change and I have fallen in love with it as it creates the most subtle bronzed look to your cheeks and it is still build able to a harsher contour but even this still looks stunning and it so far hasn't gone muddy!

So I hope you all enjoyed todays blogpost, there are still some products in the picture that I didn't talk about but I didn't want to ramble for too long.
Love you all...

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation Review

Hi guys so today I am going to be doing a review of the Covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 foundation. So I have been trying out this foundation for over a month now since a got back from New York and I can honestly this foundation is one of my all time favourites and I now couldn't be without it.

I bought mine from cvs in New York in the shade 805 which is the lightest shade that they sell typical for me. it gives amazing coverage but yet it still feels really light on the skin. When I apply this foundation I like to use the real techniques buffing brush as it really buffs the foundation into my skin so it doesn't just sit on top like most brushes make the foundation do. I find that most times I use this foundation i don't have to use a primer as it is marketed to have a primer, concealer and foundation all inn one that's why it says 3 in 1. Sometimes i use a primer on my nose if my res look a bit weird. Also this foundation gives medium to full coverage which I love I wear this foundation everyday for school and i've had no problems with it only when it got really warm in the UK and it did start to move around a little. I also find that you can wear this very full coverage and you can just use 1 pump and get a sheerer coverage which still looks amazing. The only thing I will say is that sometimes it can be slightly too dark for me as I am VERY fair so i'd watch out for that in the winter time when you are a bit paler. So I hope you enjoyed this blogpost...

Minimal Makeup for Summer | Collab with It's Only Chloe

Hi guys so todays blogpost is a minimal makeup look for summer and this is a collab with the wonderful Chloe from www.itsonlychloe.blogspot.co.uk and she is amazing you should all go over and check her blog out!!!

So this minimal makeup for me is a lot more minimal than I would usually go on an everyday basis but I find for summer I can get away with a lot less makeup as it's hotter and my skin generally looks nicer so I kept the products really minimal for this makeup look.First I used my Benefit porefessional primer to get rid of the visible pores on my nose. Then I used my Seventeen stat time concealer which I sometimes find better than the collection concealer as it hydrates my skin a lot more. I just use this under my eyes and anywhere where i've got spots which for me was on my chin and nose area. By doing this I let my natural skin shine through.

Then I go in with my mac painterly paint pot on my eyes just to get rid of any veins on my eyes or discolouration. I then go ahed and use my Maybelline the rocket mascara just to add a little definition to my eyelashes but not too much as I wanted to keep this as natural as possible.

I then used my Borjois bronzing powder and highlighter duo on my cheeks. I just used the bronzer with a very light hand on my cheeks to add a little definition to my cheekbones without going wild on bronzer which I would usually add a bit more than I did today. However usually I do have a higher coverage base on which means I use a more pigmented bronzer. Finally I then on my lips just use my revlon lip butter in the shade sugar frosting to moisturise my lips and add a little bit of noticeable colour. In the photo I had been wearing the look for a while so the colour is a bit faded but when you put it on it is only very subtle anyway.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed todays blogpost...
