Black and White Shirt and Skirt | Winter Fashion

Hi guys so now November is in full swing I am loving the wintery fashion. One outfit that I have been loving in particular is a simple patterned shirt paired with a tight skirt. There's something about this outfit that screams winter to me; I don't know if it's the monochrome tone of the outfit or just wearing long sleeves in winter but I love it. You can also easily throw a cardigan or a coat over this and it still looks really nice. You can also switch out the tight skirt for a more skater style one or wear just simple low rise jeans which i've don't both multiple times. I just think a patterned long sleeve shirt is a staple for winter and can be worn many ways.

Fireworks | Autumn Traditions

Hi guys so I don't know about you but theres somethings about fireworks that makes them truly mesmerising to me. Seen as it's bonfire night tomorrow I just thought I'd do a quick little post of the fireworks that were in my town in September at my yearly town fair. I am also going to more fireworks tomorrow because I love them so much. The bright colours and the amazing photography that comes with fireworks makes my love them. I'm glad that I got to capture these fireworks way back in September as it was an amazing display full of vibrant colours and basically my entire town came out to see them.

So I hope you all enjoyed todays quick and colourful blogpost.

High End Favourites

Hi guys so today I am going to be talking all about my high end favourites which is rather exciting as usually I mainly talk about drugstore things but today I thought I'd try something a little different. It's safe to say that I do love my high end products and I reach for them on a almost daily basis and I have many favourites.

Urban Decay Naked Pallets-
It's safe to say that my holy grail high end product if the Urban Decay Naked Pallets. I have the first and the third one and I'm hoping to get the second for christmas. I certainly reach for Naked 1 the most out of the two and it is my all time favourite palette but both have amazing pigmentation and they're very easily blended and work really with under cream eyeshadows. I honestly couldn't live without these.

Bare Minerals Skinny Dip Bronzer-
I always find myself going back to this bronzer and loving it. It is slightly more orange toned than other bronzers but it never looks awful. It just gives a really nice natural bronzed look to the face. You can't contour with this as it isn't that ashy toned but it works beautifully as a bronzer. Also as I said I always go back to this and right now I am in a benefit Hoola stage but I used this today and I fell in love all over again if they ever discontinue this I'd cry for ages that's how much I love it!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer-
As I said above I'm currently in a Benefit Hoola stage where for the past 2 weeks or so Hoola is the only bronzer I've been using. I've rarely reached for any other bronzer because it just ticks all the boxes for me. It has a very ashy cool toned pigment unlike any of my other bronzers which make it perfect as a contour shade. It is also good for all round bronzing. Also on days when I can't be bothered with eyeshadow but I want something on my eyes I've just been running Hoola through my crease to give a little bit of extra definition.

MAC Peach Blossom lipstick-
I've talked about this lipstick many times over and over on my blog this current year and that's because it's just amazing. It wears really nice and applies really nice, the colour is really pretty and overall it's just a lovely product that's a staple for me.

So I hope you all enjoyed todays blogpost.

Top 5 Lip Products of the Moment

Hi guys so today i'm back with a very exciting post all about my top 5 lip products as of now and i'm going to be counting down and talking you through each product. I've always had this post in the back of my mind to do but I never really did it as I never had definite favourites but now I do.

1. MAC Lipstick in 'Peach Blossom'
The MAC lipstick in the shade 'Peach Blossom' has to be my holy grail lipstick. I wear this lipstick on a pretty much everyday basis now and I just love the way it looks and feels on the lips. It is a crémesheen formula so it adds a lovely shine to the lips that looks gorgeous. It is such a perfect peach  toned lipstick that would suit anyone. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to maybe buy a MAC lipstick as it is a perfect neutral.

2. Nyx Butter Gloss in 'Angel Food Cake'
I really don't think that enough people talk about how stunning this shade is. I'd heard a lot about the Nyx Butter Glosses before I bought them and when I went to buy one this was the only nude shade left and it looked pretty dark to me at first as I was looking for a lighter shade. However when I applied it to my lips it was a perfect deeper nude without being vampy. It is a slight your lips but better colour and it is so shiny. This shade also compliments my pale skin so incredibly well.

3. Benefit Lolli Balm
When I received this gorgeous lip balm for christmas I never thought I'd love it as much as I do. Currently this is my  most used lip balm as it just gives a wonderful pink tint to the lips without being overpowering. Although after saying that these lip balms are very pigmented for a lip balm as you can build the colour up. I wear this when I'm going for a more toned down makeup look or when I'm school as it does keep my lips well moisturised for the entire day.

4. Benefit Bene Balm
I love the Benefit Bene Balm for the exact same reasons as I do the Lolli Balm but I do find myself loving Lolli Balm more as it is a slight bit more wearable. Even though this is still a lip balm I love wearing Bene Balm when I have a bit higher coverage foundation on and it looks stunning in the colder months as it is a red that does remind me of a good christmas red so this is maybe a sheer alternative to a maybe opaque red for the holidays as it looks amazing when I'm super pale during autumn and winter.

5. Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Intense Care
This lip balm is honestly the saviour to all my dry and chapped lip problems. As the name suggests it takes care of your lips and adds loads of hydration when they need it. It also has an SPF of 20 so I did find myself using this when I went to the beach on holiday to stop my lips from getting burnt. I love this as an alternative to the Dr. Rescue Baby Lips also from Maybelline as I'm not a fan of the smell of medicated products not that I've ever tries the Dr. Rescue ones but I imagine they'll do similar things.

So I hope you've all enjoyed todays blogpost...

July Favourites | Current Obsessions

Hi guys so today i'm going to be telling you all about my current obsessions throughout the month of July and i've only been loving a couple of things this month that really stood out to me as a couple of products have been staple for me. I'm not going to ramble on too much so i'm just going to get straight on into it.

Divergent-
Recently I caught on with the Divergent hype and I'm hooked. It took me a while to get started with this book. However once I started reading it I couldn't stop. I got so griped in Tris' story and everything that happened. The story was so fast paced and action packed. I loved every single character and the development that Veronica Roth gave them. I am now currently reading Insurgent and I love this equally as much as I loved Divergent. I just love the fluidity of Veronica's writing.

Bath and Body Works 'Oahu Coconut' Body spray-
My next favourite has been the Bath and Body works 'Oahu Coconut' fine fragrance mist. I never thought i'd be the sort of person who'd like the more coconut scents but when I was in Bath and Body works in New York I sprayed this and instantly fell in love it was really one on the scents thats stood out to me. I had been alternating this with a couple of other scents but this month I've found it to be all that I wear and I haven't reached for anything else this month. You can buy them on Amazon if you aren't in the US and I would really recommend you try these!

BareMinerals 'The Skinny dip' bronzer-
This next product is a very late favourite as far as the month of July goes but I couldn't not include it. For the past month or so I've been using Benefit's hoola bronzer and when I decided to take my Bare Minerals bronzer on holiday I instantly fell back in love with it. This bronzer is a lot more of a warm toned bronzer than some but it gives a perfect natural bronzed look to my skin and it is also build able if I want t to be. This compliments pale skin tones perfectly and looks good with any makeup look.

MAC 'Peach Blossom' Lipstick-
Finally my last favourite for the month of July is the MAC 'Peach Blossom' lipstick. Which I have now talked about quite a lot on here and rightly so because this lipstick is amazing. I find myself wearing this on an everyday basis as it goes with absolutely everything. This lipstick gives a perfect peachy pink look to the lips as the name suggests and it also looks stunning. I know MAC isn't in everybody's price range but if you do get the chance I would highly recommend picking this shade up as it is a staple colour to have.

So I hope you all enjoyed todays blogpost and I have a lot more exciting blogposts coming your way now that it is summer, so you can all look forward to that.

The Perfect Bronze Trio

Hi guys so today I am going to be telling you all about my perfect bronze trio of products that work perfectly for any time of year. Mostly these are just my favourite product within the bronze colour family. I love all of these products as they are amazing. Two of the products are slightly on the pricier side though so I'm sure you can find just as good of dupes at the drugstore.

Urban Decay Naked Palette-
This is one of my most used makeup items that I own as you can see by the state that it's in and it was actually the first eyeshadow palette I ever owned so it has a special place in my heart. I love this palette for the bronze tones in it as they work with absolutely anything at all. What I also love about this palette is that all of the colours are so versatile so you can mix and match them with different palettes and they work amazingly. Plus the colours are very bronze tones which is my favourite shade at the moment to wear on my eye.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creamy Beige-
I've been absolutely loving the Maybelline colour tattoo in creamy beige as it gives a very nice brolly base to the eyelid and it is perfect for blending eyeshadow on top of. Also something that sets it apart from the shade 'On and on Bronze' also from Maybelline is that it is a matte shade which means shimmers and mattes look flawless on top of this. It also reminds me of the shade 'Buck' from the Naked palette. This is also the more affordable of the three options as it is drugstore. Also the cream looks beautiful and stunning on it's own which is how i wear it most days.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer-
The Benefit hoola bronzer is the newest edition to my makeup collection and already i'm in love with it. What I like most about thus bronzer is that it is really different to all the other bronzers I own as it is slightly more ashy toned and better for contour than say my Borjois one. Also it give the perfect natural bronze to the cheeks and I am finding myself wearing this on an everyday basis recently and I haven't even reached for any other bronzer in a while. This bronzer just gives you the perfect sun kissed look for summer no matter what shade of skin you are; me being very pale I can wear this just fine.

I hope you enjoyed todays post...

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation Review

Hi guys so today I am going to be doing a review of the Covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 foundation. So I have been trying out this foundation for over a month now since a got back from New York and I can honestly this foundation is one of my all time favourites and I now couldn't be without it.

I bought mine from cvs in New York in the shade 805 which is the lightest shade that they sell typical for me. it gives amazing coverage but yet it still feels really light on the skin. When I apply this foundation I like to use the real techniques buffing brush as it really buffs the foundation into my skin so it doesn't just sit on top like most brushes make the foundation do. I find that most times I use this foundation i don't have to use a primer as it is marketed to have a primer, concealer and foundation all inn one that's why it says 3 in 1. Sometimes i use a primer on my nose if my res look a bit weird. Also this foundation gives medium to full coverage which I love I wear this foundation everyday for school and i've had no problems with it only when it got really warm in the UK and it did start to move around a little. I also find that you can wear this very full coverage and you can just use 1 pump and get a sheerer coverage which still looks amazing. The only thing I will say is that sometimes it can be slightly too dark for me as I am VERY fair so i'd watch out for that in the winter time when you are a bit paler. So I hope you enjoyed this blogpost...

Childhood Stories | georgiamae

Hi guys so a while a go I started watching the TV show Once Upon a Time (which I am obsessed with by the way I am all caught up and it's amazing). I started thinking about all the childhood fairytales that I used to read and how they've had an impact on the things I adore now. Firstly the story of Peter Pan has really been with me my whole life I used to have a really old school Disney video tape of it that I used to play all of the time. Then when I got a little older I read the book. I honestly adore the story of Peter Pan and the idea of a magical land called Neverland. I was also a very based child who loved Peter Pan and hated Hook. I loved the idea of all the children been taken to Neverland in their dreams. It was only a couple of months ago that I really clarified my love for Peter Pan when I re-watched the Disney film that I hadn't watched in years that I loved fantasy stories and where they can take you. I think this is why I love Once Upon a Time so much as it is my ideal world of fairytales from my childhood with a twist that I think just add a little extra to all the stories. One of my favourite quoted from Peter Pan is 'The second star to the right, and straight on till morning' as when i was younger I had dreams of going to Neverland and living the stories of the characters from the film. The Peter Pan story from Once Upon a Time was always one of my favourites as I loved the story when I was a child and I was able to see how others interpreted it.

Another story that was very significant to me growing up when I was around 8 or 9 I believe was Alice in Wonderland. The whole concept of Alice in Wonderland appeals to me so much as obviously  i really love fairytale, fantasy stories and it was able to make me think of a place where everyting was crazy but it somehow made sense. When I was younger I loved the idea of Wonderland and everything it holds and all the magic there. As I have grown up I have also grown to love all the characters and how they are all different and special in their own ways and how they all intertwine so beautifully. I have always been a massive lover of the Tim Burton movie adaptation of Alice in Wonderland as I feel the movie makes everything look so real and magical and as if you're there with Alice on her adventures. When I was a lot younger before i read the book I was a big lover of the Disney film but now I love the Tim Burton version so much more.

So I think I may have just rambled at you all a little about my favourite childhood stories enough I do believe that these stories will stay with me forever. I do hope yo all have a great rest of the week.
Love you all...
